40 days past the terrorist attacks in Tehran, a Television play titled “Heights under feet” goes on air on state TV channel 4.
The broadcast occasion marks the 40th day after the June 7 terrorist attack on Iran’s parliament and the mausoleum of Late Imam Khomeini, by DAESH Takfiri terrorist group.
The seven-episode program, which has a novel aesthetic narrative, and enjoys LED and Chroma Key techniques, deals with issues in daily social life of folks in the Iranian society.
The storyline depicts a research group that is investigating the root cause of extremism in the region, and methods of dealing with it. As the story unfolds, the team faces a variety of challenges, depending on the topic being studied.
DAESH Takfiri extremism has inflicted heavy losses of life on Muslim people in the Middle East region since 2013. In areas controlled by the terrorist group in Syria and Iraq, Shia fighters have been defending the holy shrines of member of the household of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), as well as joining hands with their Sunni brothers in aiding armies of the war-hit countries of Iraq and Syria in defending civilians.
“Heights under feet” is directed by Mohsen Moeini, the young and well-known director, who has staged dozens of other plays so far.
